Many times people think of a idea for a project, start a book, begin working out, or saving towards a goal, and realize wow this is going to take much more time than I thought, or maybe you are seeing little result in comparison than you originally expected to see at this state of the journey.
This is where some will either throw in the towl, or continue forward with consistency and perseverance.
It may take more time than expected, maybe even more resources and or energy, however you can break through if you continue grinding away at the wall infront of you. One more step, one foot in front of the other.
Consistency pays dividends, when you remain consistent and persevere, it begins to compile, like a snow ball rolling down a hill.
The snowball effect will occur and you will then begin to see the consistency paying off, your momentum will begin to pick up, and before you realize it you have broke through.
In many cases for me I find it hard to put a problem I’m having down and take a break and breathe, in scenarios like this (looking at the micro level / day to day) it is important to step away and recoup, otherwise you can end up with tunnel vision and this will effect your focus and momentum.
Rest is important, many burnout. When running a race if you haven’t built up the endurance to run 3 miles you may need to walk segments and run others, none the less get to the finish line.
Many will begin to rest and not return to the race due to lack of determination, motivation, and or grit.
This is where you need to remember, consistency pays dividends, and payday is around the corner if you continue.
Keep moving forward.
